Auckland and Waikato Branch host Gavelhouse event.

NZTBA branch events commence this month with the Waikato and Auckland branch committees extending an invitation to all members to attend a social gathering and presentation by Gavelhouse's Gary Moore. Gary's presentation will provide an overview of selling horses via the online Auction house medium.

Gary said "The more we are open to realise the potential, and look to embracing the web as a serious marketing tool, the more opportunities will abound", he said. "Online trading is breaking new ground and will become a vital medium for every buyer & seller in the future."

Gary Moore also commented that while the traditional Auction method would of course remain, some of the online results are quite extraordinary. "Online trading brings the industry in line with current computer age trends and streamlines the process, making it easier, quicker and more cost effective. It also has the ability to reach both local and large International audiences of vendors and potential buyers."
