The high-class son of leading New Zealand sire Darci Brahma won 15 of his 23 career starts including the Singapore Guineas, Lion City Cup and Patrons' Bowl at Singapore Group 1 level. He also won a further six stakes races and gained a valuable international Group 1 placing in the Singapore Krisflyer International Sprint.
Super Easy was bred by overseas-based NZTBA member Mike Ryan from the grand producer Parfore (Gold Brose), also the dam of dual Group winner Tiger Tees (Dubawi), multiple stakeswinner Our Lukas (Generous) and four other winners - all her foals to race. Other top performers from this family include 2008 Champion New Zealand 2YO Il Quello Veloce and in the 1950s it was responsible for a pair of top-class colts, Hot Spell (VATC Caulfield Guineas) and Champion New Zealand 3YO Syntax.
In fact, Super Easy's seventh dam is the 1956 New Zealand Broodmare of the Year Night Girl, dam of Syntax.

"He's a top-class sire who is doing a great job. He's also the leading sire in Singapore and has a very good reputation in Hong Kong.

Super Easy recorded his third Group One victory last month in the Patron's Bowl at Kranji, but injury subsequently forced his retirement at the height of his powers.
He began his juvenile career in New Zealand with a track record-breaking win over 1000 metres on debut at Trentham where he beat subsequent Group 1 winner and NZ Filly of the Year Planet Rock in 56.20. He was then runner-up in the ARC Eclipse S. G3 and fourth in the ARC Karaka Million (R) LR.
Super Easy lived up to his name during his 3YO season in Singapore with 11 straight victories, including six at stakes level. He claimed the Singapore Triple Crown, which culminated in his win in the Singapore Guineas Sgp-1.
"His Guineas win emphasised just what a tough and genuine racehorse he was," Baker said. "He was down on the fence and three back. To bullock his way out and win was massive. "It's easy to understand why he was a cult figure there."
Super Easy completes an appealing and high-quality group of ten freshman sires for New Zealand's upcoming 2013 breeding season, standing at fees ranging from $4,000 to $30,000, with an average fee of just under $11,000.
All ten are Group winners, and six of them were successful at Group 1 level: Azamour, Ocean Park, Power, Reliable Man, Rock 'N' Pop & Super Easy.
Four were bred in New Zealand (Burgundy, He's Remarkable, Ocean Park & Super Easy), three were foaled in Australia (Highly Recommended, Niagara & Rock 'N' Pop) and three hail from Europe (Azamour, Power & Reliable Man).
