Bidding is now open for the 2026 National Online Breeding Stock Sale on Gavelhouse Plus, offering breeders and investors the opportunity to secure proven broodmares and maiden mares ahead of the breeding season.
Featuring a diverse 92-lot catalogue of well-bred stock from leading vendors across New Zealand, the Sale presents outstanding potential for investment in proven families and future success stories, all from the convenience of New Zealand’s leading online bloodstock marketplace.
Broodmares in foal to established sires Ace High, Almanzor, Ardrossan, Circus Maximus, Hello Youmzain, Noverre, Ocean Park, Per Incanto, Profondo, Shamexpress, Shocking, Super Seth, Sweynesse, Sword of State, U S Navy Flag, Wrote and more are on offer. Plus mares in foal to exciting new stallions Chaldean, Mr Mozart, Hilal, Paddington, Little Brose and Auguste Rodin.
The late, great Savabeel will also be represented in the catalogue, with two mares in foal to the 10-time champion New Zealand sire. Real Divine (NZ) (Real Steel) and Vitani (NZ) (Pins) will both be offered by Milan Park, while another seven daughters by Savabeel are up for sale.
A pair of black-type performers are eye-catching young broodmare prospects from the Cambridge stable of Stephen Marsh. Group Three performer Merchant Queen (Merchant Navy) and the Listed-placed Ortega (NZ) (Reliable Man) are catalogued as Lot 50 and Lot 57 respectively.
The 2026 National Online Breeding Stock Sale is now open for bidding on Gavelhouse Plus with the first lot closing from 6pm (NZT) on Wednesday 8 July.
Buyers must register on Gavelhouse Plus in advance to gain bidding approval.
