Long-standing industry figure Bruce Perry has announced the establishment of a new advisory service aimed at providing independent support to those involved in the thoroughbred breeding and racing sectors.
Operating under the name Bruce Perry Consultancy, the service is separate from his existing bloodstock business and is designed to offer impartial advice to breeders, owners, farms, and prospective investors.
“It will be totally separate from my bloodstock business and will strive to help and support new people and those already involved with advice, insights, views and different opinions,” Perry said.
“A lot of people may not have the time to be at sales and have the opportunity to see the international side of the industry, and no doubt they have questions on many aspects of breeding and racing.”

“I believe there is a gap in the market for this type of support service and believe it is a positive move for the industry. We need to keep people involved in the game, at all levels, for the longest time, and we need them to succeed. It’s really about identifying risk and trying to avoid any pitfalls.”
The consultancy will focus on a range of services, including entry strategies for new investors, portfolio appraisals, strategy evaluation, pedigree and mating advice, and general industry guidance.
