Business Operations and Development Manager
The NZTBA encourages, supports and ensures co-operative efforts in the improvement of the NZ Thoroughbred industry. A strategic review of our organisation means we have an exciting new position for a dynamic and industry-experienced person to continue our excellent reputation for our stakeholders.
Based in Hamilton, the Business Operations and Development Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive and takes responsibility for managing the implementation of the strategic plan and achieving the key objectives of the Association.
To get this right you’ll need to have experience in operational management and business development and a sound understanding of thoroughbred industry and the wide-ranging issues facing the industry. You will be IT literate, an effective communicator and networker and be capable of developing and implementing a digital business and marketing strategy.
You’ll bring a track record of delivering outcomes to plan in a timely and cost-effective manner, while engaging with and bringing all stakeholders along with you.
The organisations focus areas include growing membership and the range of services provided to members, forming partnerships with other sector groups, and promoting the benefits and rewards of being involved in breeding.
