John A. Higgs Memorial Trophy
Presented to TOM BURN

Other Nominees: Bryan Kerr & Geoff Turner

Tom Burn has won this award twice before for work he continued to undertake in the 2001-02 season, including raising funds for the NZTBA Wellington-sponsored Overseas Scholarships. He is also a significant owner and investor in New Zealand racing, but this year's award especially recognises the contribution Tom has made to the work of the NZTBA Council during a particularly challenging year.
