She later won the South Australian Oaks and South Australian Derby, both Gr 1 races. Pentire's fee for 2009 was raised to $27,500 plus GST. History Pentire was the only NZ-based sire to leave two domestic Group One winners during the 2005-06 season: Auckland Cup winner PENTANE (ex Tuff One by Prince Raider) and spring star XCELLENT (ex Excelo by Centro). He later added the Brisbane Cup G1, won by ART SUCCESS (ex Zabelette by Zabeel).
