Central Districts Weanling and Stallion walk very successful

Central District Branch members view Handsome Ransom at the weanling and Stallion walk
Secretary of the Central Districts branch, Chrissie Bambry reported on the very successful Central Districts weanling walk, which was held on Sunday 10th June on a very cold day.  Chrissie said that the rain held off right to the end and the turnout of over 60 people was the best she had seen since taking on the job as Secretary of the Central Districts branch. The weanling walk included a parade of some of the more notable stallions now resident in the area, including Colombia at Newmarket Lodge Stud and Handsome Ransom at Wellfield Lodge. Chrissie said that the opportunity to view some of these stallions along with the weanlings brought out the usual interested people along with a lot of new faces which she believed augured well for the industry. She also said that the weanlings and stallions were all presented in top condition, which was a real credit to all the studs who were involved.
